Probably more like 6 month old toys. Get him a few little things for now, unless he's already got plenty. At 6 months they are when they really start exploring things more. They'll be alot more useful to him at 6 months. Now, my son is 5 months, and he is just now starting to really show intrest in toys. He did before, but now its longer periods of time and alot more intrested. Is he teething? My kids always like those material books that sounded like there was some kind of paper inside them and they had hard plastic on the edges for them to chew on. Is he lifting his head? Can he pay attention for a little bit? If so, maybe an aquamat. It's just a mat you fill with water and there's stuff that floats around on the inside. He just has to be supervised. Anyway.
